I am always learning – Michelangelo
I have this quote in my office and after going to Italy on a trip of a lifetime for my birthday this year, it means so much more.
Michelangelo was a painter, sculptor, architect, innovator, a good businessman, and yes, a little hard to work with and for. The evidence of his genius is everywhere throughout Italy and the world. Getting to see his works up close, in detail 500 years after he created them was awe-inspiring, breathtaking and moving. So… if he was always learning then we ALL should be.
Looking back at my year (I keep my calendars and do my own personal year in review like you see on TV but nothing to do with war or celebrities), I was able to review how I fed my mind, expanded my network, and inspired my creativity that is investing.
I want to share these, because people are surprised to hear I still take “classes”. But the amount of wealth one has is not an indication of how much education you have. Case in point, some of my journey in 2018 was about growing my circle of counselors. If you are spiritual you know what I mean.
